Little Sky Bakery seeks an experienced baker and manager with a background in bread baking and fermentation to manage the overnight shift at our central Menlo Park bakery.
The Night Manager will report directly to the head chef/owner to:
ensure the highest quality and safety consistently across all operations;
plan and oversee weekly production for multiple locations plus catering events, including managing the flow of work to achieve efficient operations;
place orders and maintain inventory;
manage all production staff and café line cooks (including hiring and training);
solve problems related to equipment and personnel that may arise;
maintain smooth communication regarding all issues, concerns and company policies.
The bakery manager is a critical leadership role at Little Sky demanding excellent organization, communication, problem solving and people leadership skills. This role represents an opportunity for an organized and entrepreneurial individual to grow and refine operations in a fast-growing company.
Little Sky Bakery is an artisan bakery based in Menlo Park, specializing in wild yeast fermentation. In 2017, we began making sourdough bread out of a single dutch oven, and since then have expanded our product line to include a variety of naturally leavened breads, pain de mie pastries, a variety of baked goods (including scones, muffins, cookies, and cakes), and prepared foods. Today, we continue to grow from our four retail locations and more than twenty farmers markets in the Bay Area.

Salary Range: $75,000-$100,000K (based on experience), plus benefits.
