We're looking for an individual to join our fantastic team at Kantine as a part-time barista. Kantine is a casual, woman-owned Scandinavian-inspired eatery that serves breakfast, brunch, lunch and a lot of pastries. We make food from scratch using organic, local and seasonal ingredients. We are located on Market Street, between Hayes Valley and the Castro.
Can you answer YES to all of these qualities we seek?
- you have made coffee drinks at a restaurant or specialty coffee shop, so you can handle an espresso machine, latte art and POS with ease
- you have a friendly and positive attitude
- you are an early riser, who enjoys getting the most out of the day early on
- you enjoy working with a team with high ambitions
- you’re dedicated and reliable
On average you’d be working 3-4 days a week, including some weekend days. Your shifts are in the daytime from approximately 7:30am until 3:30pm.
