Looking for a part time server at a traditional Italian restaurant, Cafe Figaro. We are currently the oldest restaurant in Burlingame and have an established a reputation of quality and integrity.
Preferably an experienced server to our team that embodies our family style work culture. This exciting opportunity to join our intimate team is a very good opportunity for anyone in the front of house hospitality sector.
Schedule would be 4 pm - 9pm
Basic Responsibilities/Expectations:
- Traditional pre shift prep of restaurant before dinner service begins (cleaning, restocking, daily specials)
- General server knowledge ( PoS systems, taking orders, reciting daily specials to customers)
- Basic knowledge and understanding of wines (how to present wine to customer, proper etiquette)
- Being proactive in the general cleanliness of restaurant
- Restocking bar condiment tray
- Restocking wines every night after shift
- Cleaning menus after shift
- Being able to work with others
