Mission Bowling Club is a boutique bowling alley in the heart of San Francisco’s Mission District. We are looking for a part or full time Shift Lead to work shifts on the floor with a minimum requirement of Saturday and Sunday brunches (10am until about 4pm). Some weekday availability is preferred and would factor highly into consideration of employment. We are looking for a flexible team player with plenty of server and/or bartender experience as well as some experience in a managerial or leadership role. Our Shift Lead is not only responsible for the smooth running of their shift but should have a critical eye, understand the importance of details, be highly communicative, and provide thoughtful assessments to staff as well as management. They should be able to successfully motivate staff (and mentor when needed) while maintaining standards and consistency of service. They must be able to provide excellent customer service, understand how to deescalate negative situations, and create a fun, welcoming, and safe environment for guests and staff. Compensation is a higher hourly wage, a share in the service charge from certain private events, and the ability to earn tips in certain circumstances.
