San Francisco Wine Society is a wine bar located in the heart of the financial district. Our menu is simple but done with quality ingredients. We offer small plates and make everything in house.
We are looking for a Monday evening Cook/Prep Cook with a strong emphasis on attention to detail who can work alone. Mondays are typically our slowest day so the shift will mainly be filled with prep but orders will also need to be filled.
This position is currently only for Monday nights from 3:00-9:00.
Duties include but are not limited to:
- Slicing Charcuterie
- Portioning cheese
- Prepping vegetables, making sauces
- Set up food for private dining events (large charcuterie boards, etc)
-Cooking small plates (our kitchen does not have a hood)
You:
- Must have previous experience as a prep cook, Minimum of 3 years prepping
- Great communication skills. Ability to communicate in English.
- Strong organizational skills.
- You will work alone, so you must have strong time management skills and the ability to work efficiently and effectively.
- You must be able to handle multiple tasks at once and have a keen eye for detail.
Pay is competitive and based on experience. Only responses with resumes will be accepted. Must be able to work the hours posted.
