7 Adams, the newly opened restaurant in Lower Pac Heights, is a collaboration between Hi Neighbor Hospitality (The Vault Steakhouse, The Vault Garden, Trestle, Mama Oakland, The Madrigal, Jack and Remi Ice Cream) and Michelin Starred Chefs, David and Serena Fisher.

7 Adams, helmed by husband-and-wife chef duo David Fisher and Serena Chow Fisher, is the latest concept from the Hi Neighbor Hospitality Group. It offers a culinary journey that transforms the familiar into uniquely crafted and gorgeously presented dishes. A deeply personal project, the restaurant honors the spaces where David’s desire to cook first took hold, its name referencing his childhood home in Upstate New York. David's cooking style is characterized by simplicity, precise execution, elegant plating, and an element of surprise achieved through unexpected textures and hidden elements. The local product that initially drew David to San Francisco has remained a cornerstone of his culinary approach, first at Marlena, the Michelin-starred restaurant that he and Serena opened in 2020, and now at 7 Adams, opening in 2023. Drawing on local produce and capturing nuanced seasonal moments, 7 Adams also celebrates Serena’s roots in Northern California.

We are seeking an experienced PASTRY PREP COOK who is focused on technique, attention to detail and a passion for the kitchen. This role will be assisting the pastry team in preparation of station set up, chopping and slicing ingredients for service, prepping bread rolls and other pastry projects.

Requirements/Qualifications:

Must possess a professional, positive demeanor and good communication skills

Excellent hygiene and grooming are requirements for this position, must also maintain a neat appearance

Minimum of 3-5 years food industry/pastry experience is preferred

Must be able to work independently with limited direct supervision

Efficiency and organization are crucial, as well as listening attentively

Must be able to stand for periods of up to four (4) hours in length. Must be able to reach, bend, kneel and frequently lift up to fifty (50) pounds.
