We are currently seeking line cooks. This is an opportunity to build skills as we create an avante garde program and push the boundaries of fine dining. Our restaurant is a unique operation, we endeavor to create a dinner party with the feel of being run entirely by cooks. We do not have a FoH staff, and as such, we are looking for cooks with an interest in helping to design the experience, as well as participate in service.
Our concept is about Craft. It is whimsical, explorational, and never the same.
We endeavor to rewrite the restaurant experience by serving food in a unique and challenging way, each time crafting an immersive theme using multimedia, storytelling, and a symbiosis of serviceware and food, each dish an art project in itself.
We endeavor to set the quarterly challenge for ourselves of serving the menu of a restaurant that could never exist again.
We provide competitive compensation, $26 - $32 per hour, based on experience. Full and Part-time positions available. Fulltime cooks receive a full week’s paid holiday vacation at Christmas during our annual closure and 3 additional days PTO. We also provide full Medical, Dental, and Vision benefits with 401k. We believe in providing a living wage and a sustainable lifestyle to our staff.
Requirements for this job are an open mind and a desire to learn and grow as part of a team. Some restaurant experience required. Some fine dining and tasting menu experience preferred. Must be able to stand on feet for extensive period and lift up to 50lbs.
