-The Restaurant is called Amara.
-We plan on opening in late October early November.
-The cuisine is modern market driven Mediterranean with a middle eastern leaning (this will shift seasonally)
-The Plate ups will be simple with an emphasis on quality of ingredients and precise technical execution. (High end
polished casual). This will not be a falafel and shawarma shop there will be no wraps or easy togo food.
-The restaurant is high volume, 200 seats both indoor and outdoor.
-We will serve dinner only with possible light service during the day.
I am a Chef with a fine dining background ranging from high volume restaurants in Las Vegas to 35 seat Michelin stared restaurants. I can train most anyone who is motivated to cook at the highest level.
We are Hiring for all kitchen positions at this time which include the following:
Dishwashers
Butcher
Baker (experience with middle eastern breads would be great)
Prep cooks (This will be an AM shift)
Line Cooks (PM shifts)
Pastry Cooks
Sous Chefs
Expediter (I'd be happy to train a front or back of the house person for this)
The pay range will be competitive with the current labor market and there will be a tip sharing arrangement for the kitchen.
For people who care about such things.
We will have rational combi-ovens and a high temperature hearth oven for cooking meats and breads.
