Hook & Line is a modern seafood eatery set to open in downtown Santa Cruz this Spring. Hook & Line celebrates the bounty of the California coast and its rich farming and fishing traditions. The restaurant provides a unique take on seafood, with an ingredient-driven menu created by the celebrated Chef Santos Majano. The ultimate goal is to create memorable dining experiences for guests with outstanding service, by people who are knowledgeable, warm and embody the idea of hospitality. How guests feel while they dine at Hook & Line is just as important as the food and drinks we serve.
Celebrating the connection to the surroundings, the Hook & Line brand is committed to being responsible stewards of the environment. The name, Hook & Line, is inspired by the ancient method of fishing with a simple hook and line. Though fast becoming a lost art, this traditional method is the cleanest and most target-specific. In this way, Hook + Line blends tradition with innovation. We support small, local purveyors in an historic seaside town, but cater to a vast segment of diners.

Requirements:
- Passion for food, wine, and craft cocktails with a desire to learn more about sustainable food and beverage practices
-At least one year of recent experience in a fast-paced restaurant is preferred
-Detail-oriented, highly organized, and able to think quickly on your feet
-Have a flexible schedule, weekend availability, strong work ethic, and a willingness to learn new things
