Little Sky Bakery, a local, artisan bakery in Menlo Park, is looking for a skilled baker to join our team in a part-time or full time capacity. This role participates in all aspects of production and baking for a wide product line, including naturally leavened breads and baked goods as well as cookies, cakes and pastries.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Report directly to the day or night bakery manager and readily follow directions provided.
Reliably and accurately follow recipe sheets and production processes according to bakery standards.
Properly clean and maintain all baking equipment, tools, and workspaces to ensure a safe and sanitary work environment.
Work efficiently and dynamically.
Maintain focus and care when working.
Stay updated with new recipes and baking techniques.
Regularly check products for quality, texture, taste, and visual appeal.
Effectively follow health and safety rules (must hold a Food Handler Card).
Little Sky Bakery is an artisan bakery based in Menlo Park, specializing in wild yeast fermentation. In 2017, we began making sourdough bread out of a single dutch oven, and since then have expanded our product line to include a variety of naturally leavened breads, pain de mie pastries, a variety of baked goods (including scones, muffins, cookies, and cakes), and prepared foods. Today, we continue to grow from our four retail locations and more than twenty farmers markets in the Bay Area.

Job Types: Part-time or Full-time Available
Pay Range: $18 to $28 per hour, depending on experience
Friday and Saturday availability required
