Sam's Chowder House in Half Moon Bay, a beautiful oceanfront seafood restaurant on the coast, is looking for a part-time takeout specialist to take and process orders in our to-go shop. Some weekends required. The AM shift is 11:15 - 3:45, and the PM shift is 3:45 - 8:30. We are also looking for host/hostesses for the front desk, to receive calls, take reservations, and greet guests for weekdays and weekends. We offer a 50% employee discount, and opportunity to advance.
Sam's was voted "Best Waterfront Dining" and "Best Seafood Restaurant" in the Bay Area by San Francisco's Best of the Baylist, and also won the local's vote as "Best Seafood Restaurant" in Half Moon Bay.
All candidates must be professional, motivated, energetic and service-oriented.
- Candidates must be friendly, upbeat, and hospitality-oriented.
- Some work/hospitality experience preferred.
- Good verbal communication skills are required.
- Must be a team player, and get along with existing staff.
