Job Overview:
We're seeking a proactive and outgoing Operations Manager to join our team. This role requires someone who is highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable handling multiple responsibilities. You'll be involved in managing day-to-day operations, handling phone calls and emails, overseeing employees, and even occasionally stepping in as a part-time tour guide.
Responsibilities:
Manage daily operations to ensure smooth and efficient tours
Supervise, train, and schedule employees, including tour guides
Handle customer inquiries via phone and email promptly and professionally
Step in as a tour guide when needed (must be comfortable with public speaking and engaging groups)
Assist with bookings, scheduling, and tour coordination
Ensure all tours meet our high standards of quality and customer satisfaction
Address any operational issues or challenges as they arise
Collaborate with management to implement new strategies and improve operational efficiency
Qualifications:
Previous experience in operations, hospitality, or tourism is preferred
Highly outgoing, proactive, and customer-focused
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Ability to multitask and handle a fast-paced environment
Comfortable speaking in front of groups and leading tours
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think on your feet
Familiarity with San Francisco's landmarks and history is a plus
Must have a valid driver's license
