Lele Kitchen, a new upscale casual restaurant in Los Gatos, is seeking talented and passionate Pantry Cook. As the sister restaurant to the popular bakery and coffee shop Lele Cake, Lele Kitchen blends the freshness of California farm-to-table cuisine with the bold flavors of Eastern Europe. Our intimate 47-seat restaurant is open for dinner service from 5 to 9 pm, Thursday through Monday, starting in early October.
We’re Looking For:
- Culinary background in casual yet elevated dining
- Passion for creative, high-quality cuisine with attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and in team
- Ability to maintain a clean and organized kitchen
Responsibilities:
- Prepping seasonal ingredients: farm produce, local fish, lean meats
- For Pantry Cook: Execution of 3 amuses, 2 appetizers, and plating of 6 desserts
- Ensuring consistency and quality in every dish
- Maintaining kitchen hygiene and safety standards
Schedule:
- Thursday through Monday, 40+ hour workweek with an afternoon start and early evening finish
- Competitive salary based on experience (up to 28/hour plus tips + overtime)
