We are a full service cafeteria located in a hospital who serves staff, outside guests, as well as caters to on site meetings.
We are a small family run business who have been at this location for around 30 years. We do our best to take care of our employees, some which have been with us for decades.
This job listing is for a part time cooking position. You will be doing simple short order style cooking on a flat top, making cold sandwiches, and serving daily specials. Cooking/setting up breakfast and lunch items will be needed daily.
We are looking for someone to work on the weekends and Monday as well. Weekend hours would be 7:30am-2:30pm. Monday hours would be 11-5:30pm.
Food handlers card is required.
Must be able to stand for all work hours.
Must be able to lift 25-50 pounds
Proper vaccinations are required due to being in a Healthcare setting.
Must be able to pass background check before hiring.
Ability to communicate in English is needed as you will be taking orders from customers.
At least 1 year cooking experience is preferred. Additional duties include keeping minimal inventory, restocking and cleaning/doing dishes. We are a small team who work closely with one another. Our ideal person is someone who is responsible and someone the team can rely on to show up day to day.
We are also closed on most major holidays so you can enjoy time with friends and family.
