Magoo's is a American pub style bar. We are a small team that is excited to have the opportunity to grow that team by seeking out a part time line cook. The chef and owner work hand in hand to develop not only a positive and inviting environment for guest as we lead them on a great dining experience, we also strive to make our team come to work and always leave happier than when they came. We have a re-vamped Brunch on Sunday's that is growing in popularity and are looking for a cook with brunch experience to jump in. Besides brunch we have 1-2 other shifts available in the PM's. As we continue to grow so will the opportunity to get more shifts and hours. Some of the duties and expectations of the ideal candidate are listed below.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Follow recipes, policies, procedures, and standard portion sizes
Maintaining freshness of product and rotating old product out
Working with one other cook or man the line solo depending on the shift
Maintaining a clean, sanitary, and safe workspace at all times to avoid contamination
Follow all kitchen health and safety regulations and guidelines
Be able to multi-task and execute orders, prep, and dish washing through out the shift.
Skills and requirements:
Brunch experience a must
Professional and responsible conduct
Comfortable in fast-paced, high-pressure environments where you would be working mostly by yourself
Self-driven, and holds a high standard
When we have busier shifts working as a team to execute all responsibilities
Good verbal communication skills
Organizational skills
Current Food Handlers Card
Pay Rate dependent upon experience but range between 21-23/hr to start. Definite growth opportunities.
