We’re a small, growing startup in San Francisco looking for a creative, experienced chef we can partner with long-term. We don’t have an on-site kitchen, but we’re open to exploring ghost kitchen options or other flexible setups. The ideal person can prepare meals off-site and deliver high-quality food that feels thoughtful and nourishing.
Responsibilities:
-Prepare and deliver lunches for 30 employees (2–3 days/week)
- Develop rotating, seasonal menus with dietary considerations
- Cook off-site; advise us on ghost kitchen possibilities if helpful
- Manage sourcing, grocery shopping, and basic budgeting
- Support occasional team events or special meals
Requirements:
- Professional cooking or catering experience
- Creative, resourceful, and comfortable working without a traditional kitchen
- Knowledge of food safety and dietary needs
- Reliable, organized, and excited to partner with a startup
