Position Overview:
We are currently seeking a strong, dependable Line Cook who is also capable of stepping up as Lead Cook in the absence of the Head Chef. This role requires consistency, leadership ability, and a deep understanding of kitchen operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Execute dishes to spec, ensuring consistency, quality, and presentation
Maintain cleanliness, organization, and efficiency on the line
Prep ingredients and manage station setup
Assist in inventory, receiving, and proper storage of ingredients
Support the Head Chef in daily operations and team communication
Take the lead on shifts when the Head Chef is off, including overseeing kitchen flow, delegating tasks, and ensuring service standards are upheld
Follow all health and safety regulations
Qualifications:
2+ years of experience in a fast-paced kitchen
Proven reliability and a strong work ethic
Leadership skills and confidence managing a small team
Strong knife skills and understanding of various cooking techniques
Ability to stay calm under pressure and maintain a positive attitude
Seafood experience is a plus
