We are Marica restaurant located in Oakland, CA (Rockridge District).
We are hiring Food Expeditor / Food Runner to work dinner shifts 4:30pm-9:00pm, 3-4 nights a week.
Busser / Food Runners will:
Meticulously clear tables promptly after guests leave, ensuring a clean and welcoming table setting.
Assist in setting tables, refilling water glasses, and maintaining cleanliness in the dining area and restrooms.
Support waitstaff and kitchen staff in maintaining a smooth service flow.
Be attentive to guests' needs and assist in creating a positive dining experience.
Provide support to kitchen and serving staff as required to maintain smooth operations.
Requirements & Qualifications:
Previous experience working in a fast-paced restaurant environment, preferably as a food expeditor or similar role.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Ability to remain calm under pressure and multitask effectively.
Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices.
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
Certification in food handling and safety is a plus.
