Job Overview;
Work independently to deliver, sell, and merchandise bread to wholesale customers on pre-determined route in company-provided vehicle and maintain records throughout the day. Partner with various personnel to process orders and improve customer experience and sales.
Typical Hours 5 am to early afternoon (hours may vary),Mondays- Friday some holidays. 40 hours a week.
Essential Functions & Responsibilities;
Drive company truck in safe, efficient manner on assigned route throughout San Francisco Bay Area
Load and unload baskets of bakery products onto truck and deliver to stores
Count and rotate inventory and stock product in display racks or shelves
Ensure pricing and sell by dates present on product and/or displays
Prepare invoices, credit memos, and other documentation as needed, following store policies
Ensure timely deliveries and high product quality and consistency for customer satisfaction
Establish strong working relationships with store management, personnel, and customers
Organize and maintain cleanliness of work area and bread displays
Inspect truck and delivery equipment to ensure safe operation and report issues to bakery management
Ensure customer messages are relayed to and from bakery management
Assist bakery management with various other duties, as needed

Ability to operate machinery, tools, and equipment properly and safely
Ability to bend, lift and grasp dollies, plastic baskets, their contents
Ability to be subject to environmental exposure to various outdoor conditions
Knowledge of proper food handling procedures
Ability to maintain high standards of safety and sanitation
Ability to work effectively with other employees with respect for self and others
Ability to provide regular and predictable attendance
Experience in commercial bakery or route sales a plus
Ability to speak multiple languages a plus

Minimum Requirements;
High school diploma or equivalent
Valid CA driver’s license (Class C) and clean driving record
Salary Range
Competitive, based on past work experience. $21 hour starting.
