Fun casual wine & sake bar. You must be knowledgeable and passionate about wine and sake with excellent customer service skills and have at least three years experience working at a wine bar. If you already know a lot about sake that is a huge plus, but we can get you up to speed with sake in no time.
Key Responsibilities:
Greeting customers, helping them pick out their beverage of choice.
Able to make recommendations for pairings.
Accepting deliveries & restocking.
Maintaining a welcoming environment.
Maintaining a clean work environment.
Qualifications/Requirements:
Passionate and knowledgeable about wine, sake, and tea. Must be able to articulate your knowledge about these beverages in an approachable manner.
Culinary background is a plus.
Ability to regularly lift up to 50 pounds, stand for 7-8 hours at a time
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
A team player, easy to get along with, fast moving and takes initiative to get things done.
Reliable and organized.
Maintains a professional demeanor under high stress situations.
Listens to directions and are able to follow procedures provided by your manager.
Must be 21 years of age or older.
Physical Demands:
Able to stand on your feet throughout work period
Able to stand, bend, climb, reach, stoop and lift boxes up to 40 lbs.
We need someone for FRIDAYS & SATURDAYS and the ability to cover other shifts with proper notice.
