Seeking prep chefs and sushi chefs for hot new concept, Sushi Boat!

Hot new sushi concept in Sunnyvale seeking staff! Sushi Boat is a ghost kitchen operating in Sunnyvale Food Hall at 1026 W Evelyn Avenue and we do take-out and delivery only. No dine in. You can check out our business at sushiboat.com and instagram.com/sushiboat

We are hiring for 2 different positions:

Prep Chef

You'll be making sushi rice, preparing veggies, packing up the sides into the containers, and getting the Sushi Boats ready to go out to the customers. You'll be managing our incoming orders on the tablet, assembling the Sushi Boat packaging, cleaning, and keeping the kitchen organized and running smoothly. Ideally you've got some food experience, have worked in restaurants before, are comfortable with Point-Of-Sale ordering systems and DoorDash, and are comfortable interacting with customers and making sure they are taken care of. Hours are flexible. $20/hr. Open to full or part time.

Sushi Chef

Must have experience butchering raw fish and preparing sashimi and poke. You'll be in charge of handing fish, butchering it, packaging it up to freeze, thaw, and cut into sashimi and poke. Good knife and butchering skills required. $28/hr

We work fast and smart, pay attention to detail, talk to each of our customers directly, and all help out with whatever needs to be done, even if it’s outside of our job description. You should be flexible, adaptable, and passionate about building an amazing brand and providing A+ service to our customers.

We’re looking specifically for people who can work Sunday, Mon, and Tues but we also have other days available and need help.
