As a Server at Poggio Trattoria, you’ll be responsible for providing outstanding service to our guests, ensuring they have a memorable dining experience. You’ll work closely with our kitchen and management team to deliver delicious, high-quality food and drinks while maintaining a friendly and professional demeanor. Weekend availability is required to apply for this position.
Responsibilities
- Greet and seat guests with a warm and welcoming attitude
- Take and accurately relay food and drink orders via our Toast POS system
- Provide knowledgeable recommendations about our menu and specials
- Note any allergies or special request when taking and inputting orders
- Ensure timely and efficient service, from order to delivery
- Handle guest inquiries and resolve any issues with grace and professionalism
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth service operations
Requirements
- One year high-volume server experience, Italian restaurant experience preferred
- Familiarity with restaurant POS systems and Toast specifically
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to guest satisfaction
- Flexibility with hours, including evenings and weekends
- Must be at least 18 years old
