Server (FT/PT) — Japanese Restaurant & Omakase
We’re hiring friendly, reliable, and team-oriented servers for a busy Japanese restaurant in the Mission District, omakase service.
Role Overview
Provide warm, attentive service with a genuine hospitality mindset
Confidently guide guests through menu items (including raw fish) and omakase flow
Maintain a clean, organized dining area and support the team during service
Stay proactive—anticipate needs, communicate well, and jump in where needed
Requirements
English communication required
Basic knowledge of Japanese cuisine and raw fish (sushi/sashimi) required
Understanding of omakase dining/service (or willingness to learn quickly)
Quick learner with strong awareness—able to find tasks and stay productive
Positive attitude, great smile, respectful teamwork
Punctual, responsible, and able to work in a fast-paced environment
Restaurant experience preferred (we can train the right person)
