Our coffee program is all about making delicious coffee, and creating a warm, safe, and welcoming space for our community to come together and enjoy their day.
We serve Andytown on espresso, Flower Child coffee on drip, and we currently offer a pourover from Hydrangea Coffee Roasters. Our beautiful pastries are made in house by Elaine Lau.
We are looking for someone who is kind, patient, and puts care into the work they do. The job requires multi-tasking, fine attention to detail in tasting and dialing coffee, and a thorough understanding of service. The ideal barista knows how to prioritize tasks like steeping tea, making pourovers, preparing drip, and heating pastries in the oven, while maintaining a clean cafe.
The ideal candidate will enjoy making beautiful drinks, and be able to consistently steam to the proper temperature, with latte art, as well as understand how to set up a functional drink queue that keeps things flowing smoothly in a busy cafe inside a restaurant environment.
Specialty coffee experience is preferred, but the most important thing is that you want to learn and keep getting better.
