Southern Marin restaurant Seeking Sous Chef with at least two years recent experience in a fast paced restaurant.
Ideal candidate has excellent kitchen skills, is hard working, leads by example and takes pride in producing a consistent high quality product.
Ideal candidate must be passionate about food as we are ingredient driven, organized, with strong leadership qualities and available for a flexible schedule including weekends.
Responsibilities include:
Maintaining the high quality of all food items produced in the kitchen
Running a clean, efficient and sanitary work environment.
Training, scheduling and supervision of all kitchen staff
Ordering, labor and inventory cost control, as well as administrative paperwork
Ability to assist the executive chef with menu development
Bi-lingual English/Spanish a plus.
PAY SCALE: Salaried $67K-$73K depending on experience.
