We are looking for an enthusiastic and passionate Tasting Room Lead to join our team and create memorable experiences for our guests. As the Tasting Room Lead, you will be responsible for overseeing daily tasting room operations, ensuring exceptional customer service, and helping our guests discover and enjoy our unique selection of wines. Responsibilities:
- Welcome guests warmly and provide engaging tastings, sharing the story and details behind our products.
- Lead by example in delivering exceptional customer service and creating a friendly, relaxed atmosphere.
- Train, mentor, and support tasting room staff to maintain high service standards.
- Manage the daily operations of the tasting room, including scheduling, opening/closing, and inventory.
- Organize and assist with events, private tastings, and tours.
- Handle customer inquiries, reservations, and product recommendations.
- Promote wine club memberships and merchandise sales.
- Maintain cleanliness and presentation of the tasting room at all times.
- Compliance alcohol service laws and policies.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a tasting room, hospitality, or retail leadership not required.
- Passion for wine with the ability to share knowledge in a friendly and approachable manner.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage a small team, delegate tasks, and provide feedback.
- Must be 21+ and able to lift up to 40 lbs.
- Availability to work weekends, holidays, and occasional evenings for events.
