Position Overview:
This is NOT a managerial/supervisorial role
As an runner, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the seamless execution of setups for our culinary events, running periodical pop-ups, and also maintaining the dining area/micro kitchens of the building. You will work closely with our events manager and executive chef to create a memorable experience for our guests. Your FOH knowledge of events service/banquets will be invaluable in contributing to the success of our events. Position is FULL-TIME ONLY and Monday - Friday.
Key Responsibilities:
- Overseeing and maintaining Micro-Kitchens and main dining area in the building.
- Assist in the planning and coordination of setups for culinary events, including executive dinners, workshops, and happy hours.
- Assist the chefs to provide FOH service with periodic pop-ups.
- Assist with on-site event management, overseeing event setup and service.
- Handle post-event tasks, including inventory management and feedback.
Qualifications:
- Culinary background with formal culinary training or equivalent experience.
- Strong knowledge of culinary techniques, ingredients, and food presentation.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Detail-oriented with a strong sense of aesthetics.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Must have a food handlers card or a Serv-Safe Certification
