About The Salty Pearl:
The Salty Pearl is a new oyster bar in Jack London Square. We draw inspiration from New England as well as coastal California. We serve fresh oysters from the east and west coast as well as a wide variety of other seafood and a proper smash burger. Our bar program focuses on Natural wine from all over the world, local beers and low abv cocktails. We love our current team and as we expand we want to add team members who enjoy our culture and can get behind what we are trying to create.
What we are looking for:
We are looking for experienced servers and bartenders who are comfortable with fast paced busy service. Servers will be required to take a large section and work well under pressure. Our bartenders need to be comfortable multitasking and providing a high level of service in a high stress environment.
We are looking for people who are pro-active, positive, outgoing and kind. Ideally candidates will be passionate about food and beverage and show an interest in learning more.
Qualifications:
2 years prior serving experience in a fast paced restaurant / bar
Experience with popular POS systems (Square preferred)
Must be able to communicate in English (speak, read, write)
Must be able to stand, walk, lift, serve for an extended period of time
