GluGlu is a wine bar in Thrive City, at Chase Center. We are seeking a server/wine steward who loves working hard, meeting new people and talking about wine.
This is a great position for someone who is starting to learn about wine and wants to learn by doing. We are on the hunt for a very specific type of person-fun, friendly, a multitasker, a wine/beer/sake/sherry lover, and a strong conversationalist. When it is busy you will be running, and when it is slower, you will have time to engage with guests.
We welcome candidates with all levels of wine and restaurant experience.
Requirements:
Nice, friendly, punctual, responsible
Strong attention to detail
Ability to lift 30+ lbs.
Fluent in both written and spoken English.
Ability to work nights, weekends and holidays, and variable schedule, per the needs of the business.
Ability to walk, stand, and/or bend continuously and for extended periods as required to perform essential job functions.
Ability to perform essential job functions when working under stress, in fast-paced environment.
