Starting salary up to $51.86/hour ($108,238/year) and a competitive total compensation package!
The current recruitment is to fill two positions, one full-time position in each of the following divisions:
Emergency Coordination Division, which is responsible for maintaining, coordinating, and directing the functions of the Operational Area Emergency Operations Center (EOC)
Community Alert & Warning Division, which is responsible for maintaining the appropriate operational area and local jurisdictional governance, policies, and procedures for conducting integrated alert and warning functions
In these roles you will have the following duties and responsibilities:
Ensuring plans comply with state and federal requirements, and recommending emergency services policies and procedures
Administering volunteer programs including coordinating and supervising volunteers
Designing, executing, and evaluating tabletop, functional, and full-scale exercises
Developing and conducting public information campaigns
Presenting to government, community, and neighborhood groups and participating in advisory committees and other related working groups
Coordinating preparedness and incident activations including staffing the Emergency Operations Center (EOC) on a rotating basis during an activation
Attending and staffing emergency management committees
