Seeking Staff for a high-energy, active, non-verbal adult man with autism to support activities and aspects of daily living. This client enjoys calming nature outings, urban, hikes, bicycle rides, ferry trips, long walks on the beach, and new food experiences.
Applicants should be:
Creative and Fun
Able to match the clients activity and energy level ( Lots of Walking involved )
Able to remain calm under pressure and in the face of challenging behaviors
Able to direct and channel autistic behaviors in a non-confrontational, supportive way.
Willing to learn about Autism and the Special Needs of people with Autism
Able to support the client with Special Living Tasks such as preparing meals, doing laundry, keeping his apartment clean and organized, and shopping for necessities.
Able to support the client with bathing and toileting and other aspects of physical hygiene
Willing to engage in being part of a supportive, collaborative team, along with clients family and other staff, in designing and consistently implementing programs and routines for the client.
Shifts available:
Thursday 11am-8pm
Thursday/Friday 8pm to 11am ( Overnight Shift includes sleeping )

Personal Care Giver Requirements
Assist clients with personal care and hygiene
Help clients with exercise
Plan and prepare meals
Assist the client with shopping
Perform housekeeping duties
Be a pleasant and supportive companion
Report any unusual incidents
Act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency
Assist with GOAL setting and making progress on GOALS
Take excellent notes on GOAL progress
Continuous online training's
Personal Care Giver Qualifications
Valid CA ID
Valid Car insurance ( If Driving Client )
Valid Registration ( If Driving Client )
Social Security Card
High School Diploma or Equivalent
CPR/First Aid Certified
Negative TB test
Pass Department of Justice Background Check
