We are looking for an experienced and courteous General Dentist Associate to join our team. This individual will be a team player who plays a vital role in maintaining and improving oral health for their patients.

Responsibilities:

Patient Care:

Administer anesthetics for pain management during dental procedures.

Advise and educate patients on preventive dental care, treatment options, and overall oral health.

Diagnose and treat various dental conditions, both preventive and corrective.

Analyze dental needs to identify trends in disease patterns.

Design, create, and fit dental appliances, including space maintainers, bridges, and dentures.

Evaluate oral health using instruments, x-rays, and diagnostics to plan treatments.

Perform root canal treatments (endodontics), dental crowns and dental bridges.

Develop personalized treatment plans for patients' dental and oral tissue.

Perform oral surgery when necessary.

Prescribe antibiotics and other medications as needed.

Performing Implant placement is preferred.

Knowledge of Invisalign is preferred.

Surgery experience preferred.

Operational and Administrative:

Manage and guide dental assistants effectively.

Audit patient charts on schedule.

Manage and run the morning huddle with staff.

Organize and maintain dental health protocols and patient health records and notes.

Create and assess dental health educational materials.

Ensure infection control through the use of protective gear (masks, gloves, safety glasses) and adherence to safety protocols.

Use dental instruments, appliances, and safety equipment effectively.

Minimum Requirements:

Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) or Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS).

Current California Dental license.

Current basic life support (CPR) certification.

Current X-ray license, and Laser certification preferred.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team.

Superior soft skills, including critical thinking, sound judgment, active listening, and social perceptiveness.

Compensation: Negotiable. Based on experience and potential.

Job Type: Part-time turning into Fulltime

Pay: From $800.00 per day based on experience and potential

Expected hours: 8 – 30 per week
