Weekend Attendant/Caregiver for Male Quadriplegic - (In my home in Santa Rosa)
Hours Days : Saturday, typically 1 PM-9 PM; Sunday, also typically 1 PM-9 PM.
What: In-home Personal-care/Attendant for male quadriplegic.
When: Saturday Afternoon and Evening, typically 1 PM-9 PM; Sunday Afternoon Evening, typically 1 PM-9 PM.
Duties include: Personal care, Dressing, Transferring from bed to wheelchair, Positioning in wheelchair, positioning in bed, Bathing, Bowel/Bladder care, Teeth Brushing, Shaving, Feeding. Cooking, Housekeeping, Laundry, Driving to appointments, Shopping, Water Plants inside and outside Occasional other duties as needed.
Reliability and dependability are essential. Open Communication in both directions is desired.
When: Saturday, 1 PM-9 PM, Sunday 1 PM-9 PM
Where: In my home, Santa Rosa California, located very near downtown Santa Rosa.
This is a job in a pleasant home environment. The atmosphere in the home is casual and enjoyable. I am a completely coherent, self-directed person who will train, direct and supervise the work. 420 okay but outside only, far from neighbors homes.
Pay: $20.25+ per hour. (All income is reported.)
Applicants must have a valid California driver’s license. A valid Social Security number is required.
Dependability and reliability are essential factors for all applicants. Cleanliness is a must. Follow through, complete thorough performance of all tasks is a must. Attention to detail is a must. At such time that the attendant/caregiver wishes to leave this job, advanced notice MUST be given to allow a replacement attendant/caregiver to be found and hired.
TRAINING WILL BE PROVIDED. All of the tasks can be learned and carried out following the training provided. Typically, the new attendant/caregiver will work with and be trained by the outgoing attendant/caregiver to make for a more comfortable transition. No experience needed.
