I'm looking for a caregiver to help care for my husband, who is in his late 70s and living with dementia. He’s a kind, friendly man with a great sense of humor. He enjoys watching the History Channel, sports, and keeping up with current events on the news.
We're seeking someone preferably with experience in memory care who can provide companionship, assistance with daily tasks, and help maintain a calm, engaging routine. Responsibilities would include:Light meal preparation,Diabetes management including insulin administration,Personal hygiene assistance incontinence care, Light housekeeping, Companionship,Monitoring safety in the home and helping ambulate.
I can give you more details on his general routine and schedule over the phone. It is quite straightforward and everyone says he's easygoing and simple. Also, have to mention we have a dog (golden retriever) who gets some backyard playtime with caregiver supervision.
Morning shifts are 8:30am-10:30am. Depending on the day I have afternoon shifts split into a 3pm-6pm or a 1pm-6pm.

Thur 1-6pm
Sun 8:30am-10:30am, 1-6pm
Pay is $30/hr W2
