Morning caregiver needed for me in my home. I am a 48 year old male, been a quad for 30 years. Its a nice home atmosphere, I live with my mom, 3 small dogs and a cat in Livermore right off the freeway.
Thursday - Sunday 7 am-11 am (4 hour shift)
Duties:
Daily shower - requires transferring me from bed to shower chair and bed to wheelchair.
Dress me
Change catheter bag
Give me my medications
Make coffee, set up my desk and sometimes fix a lite meal
Assist me with gardening and watering plants
Fold my laundry and put it away
Keep supplies organized
Keep room and wheelchair clean (cleaning person comes in weekly)
If interested there is occasional overnight available, when my mom travels
Requirements:
Must be able to pass a background check or tell me why you cant
Most be on time and reliable - if you don't show I am stuck in bed
Must not mind the pets
Must be able to lift 50 pounds easily
