Position Available: Quality Control Associate
Job Description: A Quality Control Associate works in a designated collection site and directly with medical clinics and healthcare providers to assure that specimens sent to our Northern CA laboratory facility are packaged appropriately with all the required information and documentation. They are HIPPA-trained personnel who are able to provide on-going training and assistance to clinic staff in the documentation, packaging and shipping of laboratory specimens. They work and report directly to the local account manager.
Requirements: Currently living in or near San Leandro. High school diploma or equivalent, minimum. Work experience in a clinical or medical setting a strong plus, but not necessary. Must be able to demonstrate ability to interact appropriately with medical and clinical staff, excellent communication and organization skills and be able to work independently. Hours can be negotiated and discussed with local executives and regional management.
