Seeking a companion/assistant that can visit with my client in a care home in Morgan Hill and possibly take him to appointments when needed. He would like to go shopping or to the movies from time to time to get out of his care home. Doctors have approved him to be away for no longer than 4 hours. The ideal candidate is someone with a clean driving record, their own car and insurance, flexible, patient with people with special needs/personalities, excellent communication skills, responsible, and trustworthy.
You will be visiting my client most likely every other week and may be asked to take him shopping for a few basic items at Walmart or Target and maybe lunch, etc.
The pay is $35/hour, plus mileage reimbursement.
Please send resume and a brief introduction about yourself and why you would be a good fit. Looking for someone short term, probably 4-6 months. Could be longer term or even possibly shorter. Depends on his medical situation. He is able to walk on his own. He is very bored in the care home and would like a nice person to take him out for a few hours to break up the monotony of his day to day.
Can discuss further over the phone. After a brief phone interview, I will have you meet with my client. If he is comfortable with you, we can schedule a first day trip out.
