Job Opportunity: Dental Assistant (DA/RDA) for General Dentist Office
We are seeking a skilled Dental Assistant (DA/RDA) with a minimum of 2+ year of dental experience to join our team at a General Dentist office. The ideal candidate should exhibit enthusiasm for their work, possess a warm and friendly demeanor, and be outgoing with both patients and staff members.
P-Time Position Mon, & Wed 9am to 5:30 pm
Responsibilities:
- Greet patients and escort them to the examining room
- Assist in preparing patients for dental procedures
- Aid the dentist during examinations and assist with general procedures
- Gather patient information and health history, following Covid-19 protocols
- Take X-rays, Panoramic images, and Cone Beam CT scans
- Prepare the work area for procedures and ensure proper sterilization
- Hand instruments and equipment to the dentist, and take notes as required
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices
- Assist in crown preparation, dental impressions, and various dental treatments
- Perform coronal polishing, apply sealants, fluoride treatments, and topical anesthetics
- Maintain treatment areas, stock supplies, and monitor inventory levels
Requirements:
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Thorough understanding of dental hygiene procedures
- Compassionate and attentive towards patients
- Knowledge of aseptic and sterilization techniques
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Maintains a calm and positive attitude under pressure
- Adherence to all regulations and protocols
Pay: $18.00 - $35 per hour

Education:
High school or equivalent (Preferred)
Experience:
Dental Assisting: 1 year (Preferred)
License/Certification:
Registered Dental Assistant (Preferred)
X-Ray Certification (Preferred)
