Our Mobile Dental Company is seeking skilled Dental Assistants to join our team. We are hiring throughout the Bay and Sacramento Metropolitan Areas. As a Mobile Dental Assistant, you will be responsible for assisting in providing dental care to patients residing in Skilled Nursing Facilities (SNF's). You will be required to travel to facilities throughout the region, mileage is paid.
Key Responsibilities:
Assisting the Dentist during dental procedures
Preparing and Sterilizing instruments and equipment
Maintaining patient records and updating medical histories
Performing dental x-rays and ensuring the safety of patients during the process
Providing patient education on oral hygiene and post- treatment care
Ensuring that mobile dental equipment is clean and properly stocked with supplies
Traveling to SNF's and setting up mobile dental equipment
Providing exceptional customer service to patients and facility staff
Requirements:
Dental Assistant Certification or equivalent training/experience
Xray Certification/License
Prior experience in a dental setting preferred
Willingness to travel to different SNFs and work with different patient populations
Ability to work independently, take initiative, and work as part of a team
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Computer literate with proficiency in Microsoft Office and/or practice management software
Strong Organizational skills with attention to detail
Valid Drivers License with clean driving record
Reliable vehicle
