DENTAL ASSISTANT RDA or DA with required EXPERIENCE of 4-7+ years in Surgical experience for a Periodontal solo doctor private practice, on the border of Mountain View and Sunnyvale. We are celebrating our fourth year in our modern, new state of the art location in the heart of the fun bustling area, with Whole Foods and Target are only block away and the McKinley Center.
Our Top Candidate will be an experienced top professional in surgical dental, setting up for IV Sedation, Intra Oral Scans, Guided Surgical procedures using Dental CT and 3-D Tomographic imagery. We will count on your stable long term experience and responsibility in addition to a smart, quick thinking as an experienced Surgical Lead, who can take leadership in several aspects of becoming Doctor's TOP ASSISTANT. Ideal candidate must have good energy, tech skills and a positive attitude to learn new things, and create a better way when necessary, to embrace and complete a variety of tasks, We need a top candidate with a willingness to learn and achieve the goal of someday being our Top Lead Surgical Assistant. Three or 4 solid days per week, up to 9.5 hours per day, provides a nice long weekend while being full time with us. If you have the bonus of experience with Guided Dental Implants, we may invest in training to learn the skills needed in printing surgical guides in our modern print lab. Your skill set will determine if adding a Tuesday /and or Friday to your schedule is possible. Essential surgical days with full team are on Wednesdays, and Thursdays, approximate hours are 7:30am - 5:30pm. We may alternate, Tuesdays for a Friday occasionally, as necessary as we grow our needs.
You will be working with IV Sedation, Dental Implants, Bone Grafts, Suture removals, Gum Augmentation, LASER LANAP for gum disease, Fotona Lightwalker for facial esthetics and more, Sterilization and maintenance of equipment are common duties of a lead dental assistant. As we are a team and all pitch in to better our systems, we require capability of lifting up to 35 pounds, tagging, inventory, labeling, and making sure Doctor's surgical bays are in top condition and well organized for full days of surgery.
