Our wonderful team is looking to grow! We are looking to hire a full time DA/RDA.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the dentist during dental procedures
- Take and record vital signs of patients
- Fabricate temporary crowns
- Prepare treatment rooms for patient examinations and treatment
- Sterilize and disinfect instruments and equipment
- Take dental X-rays and process them for the dentist's review
- Provide post-operative instructions to patients
- Maintain accurate patient records
- Assist with patient assessment and triage
- Follow proper infection control protocols and maintain aseptic technique
- Take basic impressions (digital and analog)
Experience:
- Previous experience as a dental assistant is preferred but not required. We can provide training for the right applicant.
- Knowledge of dental anatomy and medical terminology
- Proficiency in dentrix is a plus
- Experience in taking dental X-rays and operating X-ray equipment
Skills:
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
- Ability to effectively communicate with patients and provide compassionate care
- Knowledge of infection control procedures and adherence to safety protocols
- Punctual and reliable.
As a Dental Assistant, you will play a crucial role in assisting the dentist during procedures, providing patient care, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring a safe and sterile environment.
