Position Summary:
We’re a patient-focused dental practice in Sunnyvale looking for a dependable, enthusiastic Dental Assistant who’s equally confident supporting front office operations. If you're someone who enjoys variety, works well in a team, and is committed to excellent patient care — we'd love to meet you!
Clinical Responsibilities:
Assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures
Set up and sterilize instruments and treatment rooms
Take digital X-rays and impressions (if certified)
Document patient treatments and update records accurately
Provide post-op instructions and ensure patient comfort
Maintain infection control protocols and equipment maintenance, including operatory cleanliness and infection control protocols.
Front Office Responsibilities:
Greet and check-in/check-out patients in a friendly, professional manner
Schedule and confirm appointments
Answer phones, schedule appointments, and manage recalls
Verify insurance eligibility and process claims
Collect co-pays and balances; manage patient billing
Maintain organized and accurate patient records
Qualifications:
RDA or DA certification with experience (as required by State)
X-ray/Radiology license (if applicable)
Front desk experience in a dental or medical setting preferred
Familiarity with dental software (e.g., Dentrix, Eaglesoft, Open Dental)
Strong communication and customer service skills
Punctual, Detail-oriented and able to multitask efficiently
Bilingual a plus
