We are seeking a dedicated, experienced caregiver for a private home in the Emeryville area (commute acceptable).
About the client:
- Adult female (60's) , active, diagnosed with dementia
- Enjoys activities, light social engagement, being somewhat active daily. (Walks at nearby park, shopping etc)
- Small dog in the home — must be comfortable and friendly with pets.
Schedule & Duties:
- Monday–Friday: 8:00 am to 1:00 pm
- Weekends (Saturday & Sunday): 9:00 am to 9:00 pm
- Duties include: light meal preparation or reheating, light shopping, light housekeeping & laundry, companionship, activity planning/leading, supervising/engaging, de-escalation when needed.
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years caregiving experience, especially with dementia/Alzheimer’s clients.
- Medical background preferred (CNA, HHA, caregiver with clinical experience).
- Able to provide at least 3 references, resume, current photo.
- Comfortable working in a home with a small dog.
- Reliable transportation, we cover travel/parking as required.
Compensation:
- $25-$30 per hour (includes travel reimbursement, meals, parking)
- Location: Emeryville area, CA
- Start: ASAP or by mutual availability
