Harbor Veterinary Hospital in Santa Cruz seeks an experienced Veterinary Assistant. In this position you will assist in surgery, perform clinical procedures, prep samples, process radiographs, and so much more. Veterinary Assistants also communicate with clients (pet owners) and update patient files.
Employee must be able to multitask, lift 35 lbs, work independently, write legibly in medical records, communicate professionally on phone and in person, input client/patient data into computer program and file accurately. Experienced applicants are encouraged to apply and will be given every consideration and potential for higher starting wage and rapid advancement with commensurate increase in wage. Our next team member will be an energetic people-and-pet person with excellent work ethic and social and organizational skills. Must be willing to work flexible hours and some Saturdays.
