We have an immediate need for a Dental Assistant. We have a thriving dental office in San Jose that is in need of a dental assistant as soon as possible.
Responsibilities Include:
Preparing patients for dental work
Sterilizing and disinfecting instruments and setting up instrument trays
Preparing materials and assisting with dental procedures
Recording treatment information in patient records
Taking dental x-rays and caring for dental x-ray equipment
Giving patients information on dental hygiene and oral health care
Collecting and recording medical and dental histories and patient vital signs
Providing postoperative instructions as directed by the dentist
Forming preliminary impressions for study casts
Fabricating temporary restorations and custom impressions
Skills Needed
Certification in a dental assisting program
Dental x-ray certification
High school diploma or equivalent
Experience using computers for basic tasks
Good written and verbal communication skills
Consistent professional appearance and attitude
