Role: Seeking a kind and compassionate in-home Personal Caregiver for an elderly female client at her personal Napa Valley Estate. This is a live in position, where room and board will be provided with two consecutive days off. Caregiver’s meals will not be provided. Some nightly hours will be required to assist with clients needs, and will be compensated accordingly.
Compensation: $22/hr
Overtime hours: $33/hr (1.5x normal rate)
Nightly Rate: $22/hr
Qualifications:
Must be 18+ and carry a valid driver's license
Must pass a background check and submit an application
Must be available full time for 8 hours, 5 days a week
Medical experience is desirable, but not required
Tagalog speaking is desirable, but not required
Role Responsibilities
Assisting the client with personal hygiene such as skin, mouth, hair care, bathing, and dressing
Ability to record basic vital signs, such as blood pressure and temperature
Assisting client in and out of bed, transfers, positioning, and assisting with ambulation
Assisting with exercises as appropriate to meet the client’s needs
Meal preparation
Ability to give medication reminder
Assisting client to the bathroom or in using commodes as needed- both daytime and nighttime
Companionship and assisting in household services including light housekeeping, laundry, transportation, correspondence, making telephone calls, shopping for personal care items or groceries
Reporting changes in the client’s physical and mental condition and needs to the family
Be on call for nighttime bathroom and client’s personal needs TWO nights a week
Be able to check camera monitor as needed
