Arya Derm is a rapidly growing dermatology practice seeking a full-time medical assistant to join our team. Situated in a newly built office located steps from Union Square, our practice spans the full spectrum of medical and cosmetic skin care. We're in search of a bright, highly motivated medical assistant available to start ASAP. This a full-time position. Responsibilities
Provide our patients with excellent service, addressing their needs and doing your part to ensure a great patient experience
Escort patients to the exam room and prepare in advance for medical and cosmetic procedures
Ensure that exam rooms remain clean and organized at all times. You'll also be responsible for stocking rooms with necessary supplies as needed and cleaning medical instruments
Become a power user of our EMR system, entering patient info and scribing during appointments. Ideally, you have amazing typing skills
Earn our patients' trust, advising them on skincare products, ingredients and proper use. You'll also counsel them on dermatologic procedures, diagnoses, outcomes and cosmetic procedures
Qualification
Strong aptitude for dermatology. Although we'd prefer candidates with at least 2 years experience in dermatology or a similar field, we're open to candidates who are willing to learn
Certified Medical Assistant and CPR certification
Strong computer skills, comfort with EMR
Superb organizational skills with a knack for multitasking and prioritizing
