We are seeking a compassionate and reliable caregiver for my mom, a warm and friendly elderly woman living with early dementia in Pacifica, CA. This is a unique opportunity to provide care for someone who is genuinely kind, enjoys good company, and simply needs a helping hand to maintain her daily routine. Must be local, my mom is in the back of the valley in Pacifica. Initially 2-3 hours per day, 3 days a week, with potential for increased hours over time.
-Assist with medication management to ensure it is taken properly and on time
- Help with light chores, groceries, and general household maintenance
- Provide companionship and engage in pleasant conversation
- Monitor her well-being and offer gentle guidance as needed
Requirements:
- Must be gentle, kind, and patient, with a true understanding of the challenges that come with dementia
- Fluent English speaker
- Experience with caregiving is preferred, but the right attitude and a caring nature are the most important qualities
