Overview
We are seeking a skilled Periodontist to join our dental practice. Our current periodontist who was with us the past 5 years is retiring and we are looking to hire their replacement. We have a busy periodontal practice with great patients and a great team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about providing exceptional periodontal care and maintaining the oral health of our patients.
Responsibilities
- Perform periodontal examinations and assessments
- Diagnose and treat gum diseases and conditions
- Administer local anesthesia and sedation when necessary
- Perform surgical procedures such as gum grafts and dental implant placement
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices for gum health
- Collaborate with general dentists and other specialists for comprehensive patient care
Requirements
- Proficiency in periodontal treatments and procedures
- Knowledge of dental office protocols and procedures
- Ability to interpret vital signs and medical imaging related to periodontal health
- Strong understanding of infection control protocols in a dental setting
