Responsibilities:
- Assist the dental team in providing high-quality dental care to patients.
- Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize dental instruments and equipment.
- Assist the dentist during dental procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety.
- Take and develop dental x-rays as required.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care.
- Maintain accurate patient records and document treatment plans.
- Adhere to infection control protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a dental assistant, with knowledge of dental procedures and terminology.
- Completion of an accredited dental assisting program or equivalent experience.
- Proficiency in dental software and digital imaging systems.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to providing exceptional patient care.
- Ability to work well in a team and collaborate effectively with dental providers and staff.
- Current CPR certification is preferred.
